Back when Critical Mass was rethinking their identity, one of my ideas was to rebrand and introduce a character. Seeing as Critical Mass is all about creating online experiences, a great logical fit was to have a kind of mascot that could represent the emotional reactions to those online experiences. At the time I was really inspired by safety graphics so the character developed that tone. He didn’t develop a name though, but this egghead certainly developed some emotion…although for some reason he never became happy…….
