A couple years ago I started building a website for artist John Isler. The project never went live but I got some nice experiments out of it. Not least of which is this deconstructed nav. I wanted to portray the same depth and abstraction as John’s paintings (unfortunately I can’t find any to link to), while still providing a functional navigation.
